🥣 Cinnamon Orange Baked Oats — Recipe

✅Ingredients (1–2 servings)

✅Rolled oats (old-fashioned) — 80 g / 2.8 oz

✅Milk of your choice (dairy or plant-based) — 200 ml / 6.8 fl oz

✅One medium orange

✅Zest from the peel

✅Juice from the fruit

✅One large egg

✅Maple syrup or honey — 20 g / ~1 tbsp

✅Ground cinnamon — 1 tsp

✅Baking powder — ½ tsp

✅A pinch of salt

✅Optional, but lovely:

✅Extra honey for a gentle drizzle

👩‍🍳 How to Make It

Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F. Lightly grease a small baking dish.

In a bowl, whisk the egg gently.

Add the milk, maple syrup (or honey), and fresh orange juice.

Stir in the rolled oats and let them soak for 1 minute to create a creamy center.

Add cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and finish with orange zest.

Mix slowly — there’s no rush here.

Pour the mixture into the baking dish, smooth the top, and arrange orange slices gently.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until set, golden, and fragrant.

Let rest for 5 minutes after baking.

Serve warm with yogurt or a drizzle of honey.
